Three-dimensional measurement with EtherCON connection
Trinnov 3D Measurement Microphone EtherCON is the calibration microphone for NOVA and Altitude CI, designed to capture acoustic and spatial data for the Optimizer.
Four capsules in tetrahedral geometry measure the response of loudspeakers and subwoofers and determine their position in space. The V10 version uses etherCON, receives power from the processor and stores its compensation file internally. Product code THOM003834.
Key features
- Four microphone capsules in a tetrahedral configuration
- Individual microphone calibration
- Frequency response from 20 Hz to 24 kHz with +/-0.1 dB accuracy
- 3D localization with +/-2 degree accuracy
- Distance measurement with +/-1 cm accuracy
- Absolute level measurement
- EtherCON with power supplied by the processor
- Compatible with NOVA and Altitude CI
Acoustic measurement and 3D localization
The four capsules detect differences in arrival time and direction. The processor can derive frequency response, phase, group delay, impulse response, distance, azimuth, elevation and absolute SPL for loudspeakers and subwoofers.
EtherCON connection and integrated calibration
The V10 version does not use the 9 V battery of earlier analog models. Power comes from the processor and the individual compensation file stored in the microphone is transferred automatically during calibration.
V10 version compatibility
The EtherCON microphone is compatible with NOVA and Altitude CI. It cannot be used with the XLR5 inputs of Altitude16 and Altitude32, which require analog versions of the 3D Measurement Microphone.
