Immersive processing for up to 12 channels
Trinnov Altitude32 8-8 is an audio-video processor in the Altitude32 platform, configured to manage up to 12 channels with technologies dedicated to calibration and immersive reproduction.
The platform combines 64-bit floating-point processing, decoding of the main immersive audio formats and a full input/output matrix. This version provides up to 12 channels for processing, Optimizer and subwoofer management, with analog, digital and HDMI connectivity. Product code THOM003682.

Immersive decoding and system flexibility
Altitude32 supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro and Auro-3D, together with IMAX Enhanced and HD audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The full input/output matrix allows the system to be organized around the installed loudspeaker layout, while this configuration provides a maximum of 12 channels.
Optimizer, Remapping and bass management
Optimizer performs acoustic analysis of loudspeakers and the room and allows adjustment of the reproduction parameters for each channel. Remapping uses three-dimensional measurements of loudspeaker positions to adapt the sound field to the actual room geometry. Bass management also provides flexible routing of low-frequency content to the subwoofers.
Channels, outputs and crossovers
The 8-8 configuration manages up to 12 Optimizer channels and up to 12 subwoofers, within the available outputs. It provides 8 balanced XLR analog outputs and 8 analog outputs on DB25. For 2-, 3- or 4-way active crossovers, the stated maxima are respectively 6/4/3. The configuration can be expanded to 20, 28 or 36 channels.
HDMI 2.1 and video signals up to 8K
The HDMI section provides 8 HDMI 2.1 inputs and 2 outputs with HDCP 2.3. It supports a maximum resolution of 4K 120Hz or 8K 60Hz and bandwidth up to 40Gbps on all inputs and outputs. HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision are supported; HDMI output 1 includes ARC/eARC.
Audio connections and processing
Digital connectivity includes four S/PDIF inputs, two optical and two coaxial, two AES3 inputs on XLR and dedicated AES3 outputs; a 5-pin XLR input for the 3D microphone is also provided. The processor operates at 64-bit floating point. Up to 24 channels, the platform supports native processing up to 192 kHz.
Power, dimensions and warranty
Maximum stated power consumption is 132 W. The chassis measures 442 x 165 x 445 mm, weighs 14.5 kg and has a shipping weight of 22.2 kg; rack format is 3.5U with rack ears included. The standard warranty is 5 years and a warranty extension program is available. Standard finish is black, with silver available as an option.
