TRUE X BAR 90A: SR-X90A soundbar with wireless subwoofer
TRUE X BAR 90A is the front configuration of the Yamaha home cinema system: the SR-X90A soundbar with the wireless subwoofer, without rear speakers.
Compared with TRUE X SURROUND 90A it does not include the two TRUE X 3A rear speakers. The bar uses dedicated speakers for vertical projection, while the separate subwoofer handles the low frequencies.

Beam speakers and Dolby Atmos®
The top of the soundbar incorporates twelve beam speakers, six per side, angled to use ceiling reflection and create height information. This section works with Dolby Atmos® and the other immersive formats to develop a three-dimensional scene without requiring speakers installed directly in the ceiling.
Surround:AI™
Surround:AI™ analyses elements such as dialogue, effects, music and ambience in real time and adjusts DSP processing according to the scene. The technology comes from Yamaha's experience with AV receivers and is used here to maintain intelligibility and spaciousness as the type of reproduced content changes.
AURO-3D® and other formats
TRUE X BAR 90A supports AURO-3D® alongside Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X®. This compatibility allows different immersive encodings to be reproduced with the same bar and subwoofer architecture.
Dedicated subwoofer
The external subwoofer uses Yamaha's Symmetrical Flare Port, a duct designed to reduce air turbulence and the noise that can accompany low frequencies. As a separate unit from the soundbar, it can be placed in a more favourable position in the room without increasing the height of the component beneath the television.
MusicCast and connections
MusicCast integrates the system into the Yamaha network alongside AirPlay 2 and compatible streaming services. HDMI eARC and an HDMI input are available for video sources, while the optical input provides a digital alternative for televisions or devices that do not use HDMI audio return.
