Network Hi-Fi with MusicCast, Pure Direct and high-resolution sources
R-N600A is a Yamaha stereo receiver with ToP-ART construction, ESS SABRE ES9010K2M DAC, MusicCast, DAB/DAB+ radio, phono input and high-resolution playback.
The receiver integrates stereo amplification, streaming, radio and management of digital and analogue sources in a single component. The ToP-ART design keeps the signal path direct, while the ESS DAC and network module handle high-resolution files; vinyl, television and a subwoofer can be connected without adding dedicated electronics.

ToP-ART
Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology combines a linear, direct signal path with a rigid chassis and an anti-vibration ART resin base. The layout reduces connection length between sections and limits the influence of vibration on the circuitry, retaining the approach typical of Yamaha Hi-Fi amplifiers.
ESS DAC and high resolution
The ESS SABRE ES9010K2M DAC operates up to 384 kHz/32-bit and works together with Yamaha's network module. From USB and network sources the receiver supports native DSD up to 11.2 MHz and PCM up to 384 kHz, enabling high-resolution file playback without requiring a separate digital-to-analogue converter.
MusicCast and streaming
MusicCast provides streaming services and multi-room distribution and can also send sources physically connected to the receiver to other compatible devices. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 broaden access options, while Roon Tested certification verifies its integration with Roon software.
Vinyl, TV and subwoofer
The phono input allows direct connection of a turntable with a compatible cartridge; optical inputs can also be used for television audio and coaxial inputs for other digital sources. The subwoofer output allows an active low-frequency unit to be added while keeping R-N600A at the centre of the system.
Radio and traditional sources
The DAB/DAB+ section receives digital radio and stores up to 40 stations, complementing network sources. Analogue, phono, optical and coaxial inputs keep the receiver usable with components from different generations, ensuring that its focus on streaming does not exclude physical sources.
Pure Direct
Pure Direct shortens the signal path by bypassing buffers, tone controls, loudness and balance when these functions are not needed. The mode is intended for listening where analogue processing is kept to a minimum, while all network and connection functions remain available whenever required.
