100 watts, dual TPA3255 and a touchscreen at the top of the WiiM amplifier range
WiiM Amp Ultra raises 8-ohm output from the 60 W of Amp and Amp Pro to 100 W per channel and adds a 3.5" touch display.
The single WiiM Amp Ultra combines streamer, DAC and amplification in a component delivering 100 W per channel into 8 ohms and 200 W into 4 ohms. Two TI TPA3255 chips operate with PFFB, while an ESS ES9039Q2M converter and six TI OPA1612 op-amps create an audio stage distinct from the lower models.

The power step in the Amp series
Amp and Amp Pro stop at 60 W per channel into 8 ohms; Amp Ultra reaches 100 W and moves from one TPA3255 to a dual-chip arrangement. The extra headroom makes it the family option for speakers or rooms demanding more reserve while retaining direct control of TV audio, streaming and a subwoofer.
ES9039Q2M and PFFB in one design
Conversion is handled by the ESS ES9039Q2M, rather than the ES9038Q2M used by Amp Pro or the ES9018K2M in Amp. PFFB works in the output stage to keep amplifier behaviour more consistent as the connected speaker impedance changes.
The display changes everyday operation
The 3.5" touch panel presents playback information and provides a control point directly on the component. Basic tasks therefore do not always require a phone: the front panel becomes part of the interface, something neither Amp nor Amp Pro offers.
Music and television through the same system
HDMI ARC accepts TV audio and includes Dolby Digital support, while Line In and optical accommodate other sources. A subwoofer output supports a 2.1 system; USB can handle local content and provide audio output to compatible devices.
Networking, multi-room and room correction
The streaming platform covers Google Cast, Alexa Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, DLNA and Roon Ready. RoomFit measures in-room response and works alongside equalisation tools, allowing the additional power to be tailored to the room and loudspeakers rather than treated as an isolated specification.
