Round 8" ceiling speaker from the Visual Experience series
Sonance VX86R is a round speaker for in-ceiling mounting, with a pivoting 8" woofer in Kevlar / Nomex, a ceramic dome tweeter and a white Micro Trim grille; it belongs to the Visual Experience series. Sold as a pair.
It fits a circular ceiling opening 257 mm across and needs 140 mm of mounting depth. The series draws on forty years of Sonance design work and brings in machine learning and simulation, with a focus on performance, appearance and installation.

Installation
The cut-out is 257 mm in diameter and the mounting depth is 140 mm. Fitting in a single stage is the standard method; a two-stage method is optional, in which the wiring and the space for the speaker are prepared before construction and the job ends when the speaker module snaps into place. TRUFIG finishing and installation is a further option: a repeatable procedure that gives precise alignment and a smooth result, flush with the surrounding surface.
Finishes and grilles
The VX86R has a Micro Trim grille in satin Brilliant White. Within the Visual Experience series the grille styles are Trimless, Micro Trim and a Trimless version mounted with TRUFIG.
