Two 325-watt Statement channels with reference multi-mono architecture
Anthem Statement P2 is a 2-channel HiEnd power amplifier rated at 325 W x 2 into 8 ohms, 500 W x 2 into 4 ohms and 675 W x 2 into 2 ohms, with RCA/XLR inputs and multi-mono construction.
P2 belongs to the Statement series, positioned above MCA GEN2 in output, construction and channel separation. Each channel is conceived as an independent amplifier with its own board, heatsink and power supply, so the stereo chassis operates like a coordinated pair of monoblocks within one component.

Statement series and multi-mono design
P2 is not simply a more powerful two-channel MCA: the Statement series uses a multi-mono construction in which each channel has its own circuit board, heatsink and power supply. The aim is to minimise interaction between left and right and maintain strong separation even under high dynamic demand.
325 watts per channel
Rated output is 325 W per channel into 8 ohms, 500 W into 4 ohms and 675 W into 2 ohms. Compared with the 225 W into 8 ohms of MCA GEN2, P2 offers greater reserve while continuing to increase output as loudspeaker impedance falls.
Independent power supplies
Each channel benefits from autonomous power-supply sections fed from separate transformer windings. This reduces resource sharing between the two sides and allows the amplifier to handle simultaneous peaks on both loudspeakers with behaviour closer to two separate monoblocks.
RCA and XLR
RCA inputs provide connection to unbalanced preamplifiers, while XLR supports a balanced signal path. P2 can therefore fit both conventional stereo systems and reference installations in which preamplifier and power amplifier are connected entirely in balanced mode.
Load monitoring and reliability
The monitoring system supervises parameters such as current, voltage and temperature to protect the amplifier when a load moves outside its safe operating area. The architecture is designed for difficult loudspeakers, maintaining protection and stability without turning supervision into a restriction on dynamics.
For reference stereo and front speakers
In a two-channel system P2 can directly drive a high-level loudspeaker pair; in home cinema it can be dedicated to the main front speakers while other power amplifiers handle the rest of the room. Statement is intended for installations where output and channel isolation take absolute priority.
