Ascension is the second chapter of the Tetragon Project, after 2021's Oracles.
Ascension: the album
Composer and producer Stefan Zaradić is again at the centre, with saxophonist and flautist Wolfgang Opitz and percussionist Wolfram Winkel. Compared with Oracles, strong beats and rhythmic pulses enter soundscapes born from improvisation sessions.
Guests include Melanie Bong and Martin Kälberer. The 2025 edition includes a bonus video and 38 minutes of live concert at Groundlift.

STEREO
The two-channel version, for listening on a traditional stereo system.
SURROUND
The multichannel mix on the horizontal plane: the stage opens beyond the two front speakers and brings in the surrounds.
DOLBY ATMOS
The object-based immersive mix: sounds can also be placed above the listener, using height speakers.
AURO-3D
The layered immersive format: it adds a layer of height speakers to the surround channels.
