A sealed 10-inch, 300 W subwoofer with two EQ modes
Totem Kin Sub 10 combines a 10-inch fibreglass woofer with a 300 W Class D amplifier and a stated response extending down to 27 Hz.
The sealed enclosure provides predictable behaviour close to walls and furniture, while volume, phase and crossover adjustment allow integration with stereo and cinema systems. BASS EQ provides two settings for choosing between a more linear balance and greater low-frequency impact.
Key features
- 10-inch reinforced fibreglass woofer.
- 300 W Class D amplifier.
- Sealed enclosure.
- Specified frequency response of 27 Hz-200 Hz.
- Variable 50-150 Hz crossover, 24 dB/octave.
- Variable phase from 0 to 180 degrees.
- Stereo RCA and LFE inputs.
- Optional wireless connection through Totem Link.
Sealed loading for greater placement freedom
Air trapped inside the enclosure acts as a spring for the woofer and makes response less dependent on boundary distance than a reflex design. This allows Kin Sub 10 to sit close to walls or furniture without needing clearance for a port.
Natural or High Impact
Natural mode keeps the response more linear, while High Impact increases perceived bass energy for cinema, gaming or more physical listening. Volume, crossover frequency and phase remain independently adjustable so the subwoofer can be matched accurately to the main speakers.
Compared with Kin Sub 8
Kin Sub 8 uses an 8-inch woofer, 200 W amplifier and reflex cabinet, making it smaller and lighter. Sub 10 adds power, slightly deeper extension and sealed-box behaviour, so it is better suited to medium rooms and systems requiring more energy below 40 Hz. At 14 kg, the larger enclosure and higher mass than Sub 8 support greater excursion and output while remaining compact compared with many conventional 10-inch subwoofers. Optional wireless connectivity also avoids a long RCA run when the acoustically useful subwoofer position is far from the main electronics.
