Denon Home Subwoofer is a wireless subwoofer sold individually, designed to extend the bass response of compatible Denon Home sound bars and speakers.
Role and differences
Its 8-inch driver and internal amplification relieve the main speakers of the deepest frequencies. Pairing takes place in the HEOS app, which adjusts level and filtering for the partnered product and room. It is particularly useful with Home Sound Bar 550 and compact Home models, but it is not a universal wireless subwoofer for arbitrary systems.

Connections and use
The lack of an audio cable simplifies placement, although position still affects response: corners and walls can overemphasise some frequencies. Adjustment should follow final positioning. In a system based on Home Sound Bar 550 it can also complete a wireless home cinema layout together with compatible Home surround speakers.
Guided setup reduces the initial steps, although network quality, position and system matching remain important for stable results. Before final installation it is worth checking Wi-Fi coverage, mains outlets and any required cable routes.
