In-ground outdoor subwoofer with a 10" dual voice coil driver
SGS SUB is the outdoor subwoofer of the Sonance Garden Series, designed to be placed in the ground. It completes an audio system with 8 satellite speakers, the whole set powered by one amplifier.
In a system of this kind sound coverage is uniform across areas of up to roughly 325 m²; for larger spaces the system can grow to 16 speakers plus 2 subwoofers. The enclosure is a sealed cabinet in high density polyethylene (HDPE) that does not corrode. The subwoofer is sold individually.

Technical data
Frequency response is 35 Hz - 100 Hz (+/- 3 dB). Power handling is 200 watts RMS, sensitivity 90 dB (2.83 V/1 m) and nominal impedance 8 ohms. The subwoofer is certified IP66.
Use in the system
SGS SUB belongs to the Garden Series and works alongside the satellites of the same series: Sonance provides for an 8.1 configuration with eight satellites and one subwoofer connected to one two-channel amplifier, extendable as far as 16.2 with a second subwoofer.
