Single Stereo Technology outdoor speaker with a 6.5" woofer
Mariner MX62 SST is a Sonance speaker from the Mariner series for outdoor installation on a surface, equipped with Single Stereo Technology: the 1" tweeter and the 6.5" woofer both have a dual voice coil. It is offered in black and in white.
Sound is entrusted to VX Transducer Technology and to the Sinusoidal Textured Waveguide, which keeps the tonal character steady and widens dispersion. A perforated aluminum grille sits in front of the drivers and is held by the Grille Clip System.

Technical data
Frequency response is 55 Hz - 20 kHz (+/- 3 dB), sensitivity 89 dB (2.83 V/1 m) and nominal impedance 8 ohms. Power handling runs from 5 watts at the low end to 125 watts RMS at the top. The speaker measures 191 x 308 x 174 mm (width x height x depth).
Installation
Mariner MX62 SST mounts on a surface outdoors. With the FastMount Bracket System the speaker clicks onto its bracket, which makes fitting simple; the angle is then locked, giving precise positioning that does not sag as time passes.
Finishes and grilles
Two colors exist, black and white. The grille is perforated aluminum. Among the environmental data the Sonance sheet lists Mil Spec 810 for UV, temperature, salt spray and humidity.
