Class-D amplifier with built-in DSP in a 2U rack format
The SONAMP DSP 2-750 MKIII is a Sonance amplifier with on-board digital signal processing: the DSP tunes the response of the connected speakers and helps compensate for the acoustic behaviour of the room. It comes in two versions: Standard and INT (international).
The chassis takes up two rack units (2U) and fits in the equipment cabinet. Rack ears are supplied in the box together with feet that can be taken off.
Key features
- 500 W RMS into 8 ohms with both channels driven
- Class-D amplification certified for 8 and 4 ohm loads, stable down to 2 ohms
- High-resolution DAC: 24-bit/96 kHz processing and playback of audio streams up to 4608 kbps
- Control over IP and over infrared through SonARC v2
- Channels can be bridged where extra output is needed
- Terminal blocks that take speaker cable as thick as 12 AWG
- Works with the optional Sonance input modules: Analog, Digital and Hybrid
Connections and control
Connectivity covers a line input with loop outputs, an Ethernet socket for the network and triggers of four kinds: IP, IR, audio and voltage.
Technical data
Without feet the amplifier measures 483 x 89 x 437 mm (width, height, depth); with the feet fitted the height becomes 98 mm. The unit complies with the EU standards on power saving and holds safety and FCC certifications valid worldwide, among them TUV to UL standards, UKCA, WEEE, RoHS, C-Tick, RCM and CE.
