Network Hi-Fi with balanced architecture, YPAO™ and HDMI ARC
R-N2000A is Yamaha's network Hi-Fi receiver combining floating and balanced amplification, MusicCast, high-resolution USB DAC, YPAO™ calibration and HDMI ARC connectivity.
The design combines the structure of a high-end stereo component with contemporary digital sources. The toroidal transformer, ESS SABRE ES9026PRO DAC and symmetrical architecture work together with the network section, while YPAO™ R.S.C. brings acoustic correction typical of Yamaha systems into two-channel Hi-Fi listening as well.

Floating and balanced amplification
The power circuit is configured to float relative to ground and works with a balanced structure that keeps the two halves of the output stage symmetrical. This solution limits the influence of ground noise and small power-supply fluctuations, with the aim of improving signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic control.
Transformer and mechanical isolation
The large toroidal transformer is separated from the chassis by a 3 mm brass base that helps control vibration. Transformer, heatsink and capacitors are fixed directly to the structure according to Yamaha's mechanical isolation concept, giving the heaviest elements a rigid and stable reference.
DAC and high resolution
Digital conversion is handled by the ESS SABRE ES9026PRO DAC. Through USB-B the receiver uses asynchronous transmission with a dedicated clock and supports native DSD up to 11.2 MHz and PCM up to 384 kHz, allowing a computer to be connected directly without requiring an external converter.
YPAO™ for a stereo system
YPAO™ R.S.C. measures the room and addresses reflections that alter speaker response; Precision EQ completes the adjustment with finer intervention. Calibration preserves the two-channel Hi-Fi approach while adapting it to the actual conditions of speaker placement and listening.
MusicCast and sources
MusicCast manages streaming services, network files and multi-room distribution, alongside Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and Roon Tested compatibility. The Yamaha app coordinates digital sources with physical ones, avoiding separation of the streaming experience from the traditional operation of a stereo amplifier.
HDMI ARC and audio connections
HDMI ARC allows the television to be connected with a single cable and its audio reproduced through the Hi-Fi system. Phono, optical, coaxial and analogue inputs, USB-B and a subwoofer output complete the connection set, while the speaker terminals are machined from pure brass for secure tightening.
