Michi Prestige power, ES9039Q2M DAC and HDMI ARC in one integrated amplifier
Michi X430 is a Class AB integrated amplifier rated at 205 W per channel into 8 ohms and 340 W into 4 ohms, with ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, PC-USB, HDMI ARC and MM phono.
The Michi Prestige series brings Rotel's power-supply philosophy to a more compact chassis, with an in-house toroidal transformer and isolated sections to reduce interference. X430 integrates analogue and digital sources, TV connection via HDMI ARC, high-quality Bluetooth and a colour display with graphical instruments, while retaining a high-current output stage for demanding loudspeakers.

Class AB power
X430 delivers a continuous 205 W per channel into 8 ohms and 340 W into 4 ohms from a Class AB output stage. Power is sized to retain headroom with loudspeakers presenting variable impedance, while line-input response extends from 10 Hz to 100 kHz.
Toroidal power supply
The toroidal transformer is designed and manufactured in-house by Rotel and works with isolated supplies for the different sections. This separation limits noise between the digital circuits, analogue circuits and power stage.
ES9039Q2M DAC
Digital conversion is handled by the 32-bit ESS SABRE ES9039Q2M DAC. The converter handles internal and external digital sources within a signal path designed for low noise, allowing PC-USB, SPDIF and HDMI to share a high-level conversion section.
PC-USB and DSD
The PC-USB input supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD 4X up to 11.2 MHz, as well as DoP up to 5.6 MHz. Computers and streamers can therefore use the internal DAC directly.
HDMI ARC and TV
The HDMI ARC connection integrates the television into the Hi-Fi system and supports CEC for coordinating compatible functions. The HDMI path accepts stereo PCM up to 24-bit/48 kHz for films, series and television.
Analogue inputs and phono
The analogue line inputs are joined by a phono stage dedicated to MM cartridges. A turntable can therefore coexist with digital sources and a television in the same component.
Bluetooth and Roon
The wireless section allows Bluetooth playback from compatible devices, while Roon Tested certification facilitates use with Roon. Wireless modes complement the wired connections.
Display and interface
The glass front panel incorporates a high-resolution colour display that can show information, VU meters and a spectrum analyser. The large, knurled volume control retains precise physical operation without making everyday use dependent on an app.
Aluminium chassis
The chassis uses machined aluminium panels and measures 431 x 148 x 422 mm, with a weight of 16.9 kg. The rigid structure supports the transformer, heatsinks and circuits while limiting vibration.
