Nordost Valhalla 2 Speaker Cable

Nordost Valhalla 2: Reference speaker cable with 28 conductors

Valhalla 2 is the speaker cable of the Nordost Reference line. It is made up of twenty-eight conductors, arranged as four groups of seven each: every one is solid-core oxygen-free copper, 99.999999% pure, with a silver plating 85 microns thick.

A double filament is wound in a helix around each conductor, following the Dual Mono-Filament technology; a precision FEP jacket is then extruded on top. The signal travels at 97% of light speed: the manufacturer states a very wide bandwidth and minimal phase shift, to the benefit of transient response and dynamic resolution in the link between amplifier and speakers.
