Nordost Tyr 2 Speaker Cable

Nordost Tyr 2: the flagship speaker cable of the Norse 2 line

Tyr 2 is the flagship of the Norse 2 series: above it, in the Nordost catalogue, there are only the Reference lines. It adopts the Micro Mono-Filament construction, which surrounds every conductor with a dielectric made largely of air, and adds advanced mechanical tuning in support of its electrical performance.

The solid-core OFC conductors plated in silver are enclosed in a flat ribbon of extruded FEP, for fast, low-loss signal transfer from amplifier to speakers. According to the manufacturer the cable combines natural dynamics, weight and a sense of scale, with no artificial emphasis.
