Naim NAC A5 al metro

Naim loudspeaker cable sold by the metre with two separated 4 mm² conductors

Naim NAC A5 is the speaker cable engineered around the electrical parameters required by Naim amplifiers and supplied in the length needed for the installation.

Naim NAC A5 is sold by the metre: the ordered quantity defines the cable length to be prepared and should account for both channels of a stereo system. Its construction uses two separated 4 mm² conductors and is intended to keep capacitance, inductance and resistance compatible with Naim power-amplifier output stages.

Key features

• Sold by the metre
• Two separated 4 mm² conductors
• Design optimised for Naim amplifiers
• Intended for the link between power amplifier and passive loudspeakers
• Recommended minimum length of 3.5 m per channel in Naim systems
• Compatible with correctly terminated Naim 4 mm speaker plugs

The practical alternative to Super Lumina

NAC A5 allows the run to be defined around the room and terminated for the specific installation. Super Lumina loudspeaker cable instead arrives as predetermined pairs from 3 to 11 m and belongs to the upper cable family; both perform the same system role but are supplied in different ways.

Quantity should include both stereo channels

A stereo installation requires one run to the right speaker and another to the left. Two 4 m connections, for example, require 8 m of NAC A5 before any termination work. Any excess length is better arranged without tightly coiling it close to the amplifier.
