The KEF Reference 2 Meta Center is a high-end centre speaker designed to bring the quality of the Reference series to more compact rooms as well.
Intended for those who want immersive cinematic sound without giving up precision, detail and naturalness, it can be used as a centre channel or as a Left-Centre-Right speaker in advanced home cinema configurations.
Thanks to the 12th-generation Uni-Q® array with MAT™, it offers extremely coherent reproduction, with clear dialogue, realistic voices and a stable soundstage even in the most dynamic sequences.
The 3-way closed-box design allows accurate control of the bass range and precise integration into high-quality multichannel systems.
Total immersion for music and cinema
The heart of the KEF Reference 2 Meta is the Uni-Q® system with Metamaterial Absorption Technology, a technology designed to reduce unwanted distortions and improve the transparency of the high frequencies.
The 25 mm aluminium tweeter with MAT™ works together with the 125 mm aluminium midrange to offer a detailed, natural and perfectly focused performance.
The two 165 mm aluminium woofers ensure body, control and dynamics, maintaining a precise response even in smaller domestic rooms.
With a maximum sound pressure level of 113.5 dB and an amplification requirement of between 50 and 300 W, Reference 2 Meta is ideal for high-end home cinema systems where compactness and performance must coexist without compromise.

Since 1973, the KEF Reference series has represented a benchmark standard for high-fidelity sound reproduction.
Each loudspeaker is developed to achieve an extremely high level of accuracy, with precise tolerances and matching within 0.5 dB of the reference standard maintained in the laboratory.
