The KEF Q4 Meta is an on-wall speaker designed for those who want an elegant, discreet system capable of delivering precise sound reproduction even in rooms where floor space is limited. Its configuration makes it extremely flexible: it can be used as a left, centre, right channel or as a surround speaker, adapting easily to advanced stereo installations and multichannel home cinema systems. The heart of the design is the 12th-generation Uni-Q driver with MAT technology, a solution that contributes to a wide, coherent and richly detailed soundstage.
KEF technology for cleaner, more coherent sound
Thanks to the coaxial driver assembly with a 25 mm vented aluminium tweeter and a 130 mm LF/MF cone, the Q4 Meta offers more even dispersion and better integration between frequencies. The presence of Metamaterial Absorption Technology makes it possible to absorb most of the unwanted waves coming from the rear of the driver, contributing to more natural, cleaner listening. The 1.8 kHz crossover, developed by KEF with anechoic chamber measurements, works to maintain tonal precision, intelligibility and consistent performance in both dialogue and sound effects.
Installation versatility and integration into the room
With a 2-way bass reflex design, a sensitivity of 86 dB, a nominal impedance of 4 ohm and a recommended amplifier power of between 10 and 150 W, the KEF Q4 Meta fits easily into many domestic configurations. The compact dimensions of 400 x 250 x 142 mm and the weight of 5.7 kg per unit make wall mounting easier, while the Satin Black, Satin White and Walnut finishes help to coordinate it with modern, minimalist rooms. The box includes the speaker, magnetic grille, rubber feet and user documentation.
