Smart wireless connection between the XIO soundbar and subwoofer
The KEF KW2 is the wireless receiver designed to connect the KEF XIO soundbar to a subwoofer without cabling constraints, offering greater freedom of placement and cleaner integration into the home. Designed to bring bass where it is really needed, KW2 allows the subwoofer to be placed in the most effective position in the room, improving the overall performance of the home cinema system without compromising appearance or practicality. It is a compact, discreet solution that is simple to install, ideal for those who want a tidy, high-performing set-up.
Flexible compatibility and immediate installation
KW2 RX Receiver connects directly to compatible KEF active subwoofers, including KC62, KC92 and several Kube models, while with third-party subwoofers it can be used via the Aux/Optical Combo output and USB-C power. This versatility makes it a very interesting choice both for complete KEF systems and for mixed configurations. KEF also specifies that the KW2 is not compatible with speakers in the LS Wireless collection, for which the KW1 kit is recommended instead.
Stable transmission, high quality and compact design
From a technical point of view, the KEF KW2 operates in the 2.4 GHz band with audio transmission up to 24 bit / 48 kHz, a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20 kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 80 dB and a maximum line-of-sight range of up to 15 metres from the XIO. The extremely compact design, with dimensions of just 72 x 37 x 31 mm and a weight of 50 g, makes it easy to integrate into any configuration. The box also includes a USB-C cable, an optical cable, a 3.5 mm jack to RCA cable, screws and a quick start guide.
