The compact High-End subwoofer with force cancellation
The KEF KC92 is a High-End subwoofer designed to offer very deep, very fast and perfectly controlled bass in a compact, elegant cabinet. A direct evolution of the technologies that made the KC62 and the KF92 famous, the KC92 uses two 9” woofers in a Force Cancellation configuration driven by dual Class D amplification with 1000 W RMS (2 × 500 W). The result is high sound pressure, free of mechanical vibrations, with a frequency extension that reaches 11 Hz, maintaining precision and naturalness even at sustained volumes.
Uni-Core™, Music Integrity Engine® and absolute control
The technological heart of the KC92 is the combination of Uni-Core™, Music Integrity Engine® (MIE) and advanced DSP. The two drivers share a compact magnet system that allows high excursion in a small space, cancelling the reactive forces of the cabinet. KEF's proprietary DSP optimises amplification, drivers and internal volume in real time, while functions such as IBX (Intelligent Bass Extension) and SmartLimiter guarantee deep, dynamic bass that is always under control, with a drastic reduction in distortion.
Elegant design and total integration
The KC92 is housed in a compact, rigid and refined closed cabinet, available in Black Gloss and White Gloss, easy to integrate into any home environment. Placement flexibility is supported by 5 selectable equalisation presets, phase control, adjustable crossover and advanced power modes. Connectivity is complete: RCA, high-level inputs, Link output and wireless readiness via the KEF KW1 module (optional). It is the ideal solution for 2.1 Hi-Fi systems, 2.2 configurations and high-level Home Cinema, even in large rooms.
