The KEF Ci5160RLM-THX is an architectural in-wall speaker designed for home theatre systems of the very highest level, where power, precision and visual integration have to coexist without compromise. Belonging to the R Series, it features the 12th-generation Uni-Q array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology MAT™, a solution developed to absorb 99% of the unwanted sound waves coming from the rear of the tweeter. The result is cleaner, more natural and more detailed reproduction, capable of delivering an immersive cinematic experience even in large living spaces and dedicated rooms.
THX Certified Ultra performance for true home theatres
The KEF Ci5160RLM-THX is THX® Certified Ultra, a guarantee of high performance for home cinema rooms and large listening spaces. The configuration with four 160 mm hybrid aluminium woofers, a 160 mm Uni-Q driver and a 25 mm vented aluminium tweeter with MAT™ technology delivers a wide, dynamic and precise soundstage. The nominal dispersion of 150° widens the sweet spot, distributing the sound evenly and making listening engaging from several positions in the room.
Power, control and invisible integration
Designed for high-end custom installations, the KEF Ci5160RLM-THX combines a solid structure with extremely controlled acoustic performance. The precision-machined aluminium baffle, 5.5 mm thick, helps to reduce vibration and provides a stable base for the drivers, improving definition and impact. The frequency response extending up to 28 kHz and the maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB make it ideal for soundtracks, dynamic effects and high-fidelity music listening. The paintable magnetic metal grille and the optional black cloth grille allow discreet integration into the room, leaving the sound alone in the leading role.
