8K resolution and e-shiftX technology
The DLA-NZ800 uses 8K/e-shiftX technology, which produces pictures with a resolution of up to 8K. This innovative system shifts the pixels to double the resolution, giving incredibly detailed pictures even with content that is not native 8K.
Thanks to its advanced scaling engine, the projector dramatically improves the sharpness of 4K and Full HD content, which makes it perfect for projecting films and games on large screens.
BLU-Escent laser light source
The projector has a BLU-Escent Laser light source that provides a brightness of 2,700 lumens and a life of up to 20,000 hours. This technology ensures not only a long operating life but also high brightness, for vivid pictures and intense colours. The native contrast of 100,000:1, together with dynamic control of the light output, makes it possible to reach an infinite dynamic contrast (∞:1), ideal for scenes with deep blacks and brilliant whites.
Advanced HDR features
The JVC DLA-NZ800 supports the HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG formats, with advanced tone management to optimise picture quality according to the content. The Frame Adapt HDR function, now in its second generation, analyses HDR content frame by frame and adjusts the tone mapping automatically, for more realistic pictures with greater depth and colour. Together with the new Theater Optimizer mode, the projector adapts brightness and contrast to the conditions of the projection room, further improving picture quality.
High-performance HDMI inputs
The projector has two HDMI inputs with a bandwidth of 48 Gbps, able to handle 8K60P and 4K120P signals.
These features make it perfect not only for high-resolution films but also for high frame rate gaming, thanks to the Low Latency mode, which reduces input lag for a smooth gaming experience.
Vivid mode and ISF certification
The new Vivid mode was designed to enhance SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) content, making it more saturated and vivid, perfect for animation and gaming.
The projector is also ISF (Imaging Science Foundation) certified, which means it can be professionally calibrated to optimise picture quality for the projection room and the video source.
