Drive units
The long-excursion woofer comes from JL Audio's DMA modelling of motor, suspension and cone, and gives good power handling at low distortion. The pure silk dome tweeter is treated to withstand the toughest outdoor conditions and keeps high frequencies clean even at sustained volume. The two-way passive crossover is fitted on the speaker itself.
Outdoor resistance
Pavilion speakers meet or go beyond the ASTM standards for exposure to salt fog and to UV, and use marine-grade materials and parts intended for harsh environments.
Installation and grille
The mounting system gives a solid fixing whatever the ceiling is made of, across many materials. The grille, a very thin fine mesh, attaches with embedded magnets and can be painted to match the room; a shield to use while painting is supplied too.
Supplied accessories
The box contains the coaxial speaker, the flush grille, the mounting system, the paint shield and the cutout template.
