24 is the album by Jazzmachine, producer Stefan Zaradic's project: ten tracks on the theme of time.
24: the album
The title points to the twenty-four artists involved. Zaradic handed them images and moods to interpret instead of scores; the musicians never met face to face, and each contribution was woven into the others in the studio. Blues, reggae and funk are among the inspirations.
The album is dedicated to Kurt Hauenstein, known as Supermax, with whom Zaradic toured from 1985 to 1993 and who died in 2011 before finishing his part. This edition dates from 2022.
