Fyne Audio Vintage Classic Gold X SP: 2-way floorstanding loudspeaker with a 250 mm IsoFlare driver
The Vintage Classic Gold X SP is a 2-way floorstander built around a 250 mm IsoFlare driver with FyneFlute technology, intended to keep distortion low. Sold as a pair.
The cabinet is made of high-density birch ply braced on the inside, for stiffness and low resonance. The IsoFlare unit includes a magnet system in neodymium and a 75 mm titanium compression tweeter, for extended high frequencies and controlled bass. The classic styling of the series thus goes together with the latest acoustic solutions from Fyne Audio.

Technical data
The crossover is a low-loss passive design, ready for bi-wiring and given Deep Cryogenic Treatment: the low-pass and high-pass sections are both second order, with the crossover point at 750 Hz. Power handling is 140 watts RMS continuous and 560 watts peak. Dimensions (height x width x depth) are 918 x 450 x 381 mm and net weight is 43 kg: both figures refer to a single speaker.
Installation
The BassTrax Tractrix diffuser spreads the bass evenly through 360 degrees and, according to the manufacturer, this makes the speaker simple to position in the room. Measured from the front edge of the cabinet, the official data sheet places the S-Trax position at 110 mm and the SuperTrax position at 86 mm.
