2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker with a 250 mm IsoFlare driver
F703SP is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker from the F700SP range: it evolves the F703 model and takes technical solutions from the F1 Series. It is built in Scotland. Sold as a pair.
Its 250 mm IsoFlare point source unit is close to the one in the F1-10 model: it has a large neodymium magnet for the high frequencies and a 75 mm dome in titanium, giving lower distortion and a more even frequency response. A 250 mm woofer works beside it. The crossover has been redrawn and optimised through computer models and listening sessions: it uses Neotech PC-OCC wiring together with high-quality Claritycap capacitors, and receives a cryogenic treatment carried out in Fyne Audio's facilities. The terminals are WBT Nextgen 0703 types with gold plating. The loudspeaker is mounted on a heavy platform in machined aluminium, with M12 threaded cones as supports, for stability and precise bass.

Technical data
The crossover uses a second-order low-pass and a first-order high-pass. The cabinet is made of pressed birch plywood of high density, braced internally; it measures 1195 x 505 x 468 mm (height x width x depth) and weighs 56 kg: size and weight apply to one loudspeaker. For anyone adding a super tweeter, the data sheet gives its distance from the cabinet's front edge: 94 mm for S-Trax, 70 mm for SuperTrax.
