Fyne Audio F502SP: 2.5-way floorstanding speakers with a 200 mm IsoFlare driver
The F502SP is the SP edition of the F502 floorstander, made in the UK. It takes the 200 mm drive units of the F702 and houses them in a more compact cabinet. Sold as a pair.
Both the 200 mm IsoFlare unit and the 200 mm bass and midrange unit use rigid multi-fibre cones held by FyneFlute surrounds. The 25 mm magnesium compression tweeter inside the IsoFlare has a high-frequency wave guide formed in the pole piece. The F700 range also supplies the crossover components and the aluminium sandwich plinth with its Tractrix-profile BassTrax diffuser, redesigned to tune the F502SP cabinet. The aluminium chassis of the drivers has a diamond-cut finish.

Technical data
Suggested amplifier power runs from 30 to 200 W RMS; the speaker takes 100 W RMS continuously. The crossover points sit at 250 Hz and 1.7 kHz, using a second-order low-pass filter and a first-order high-pass filter. Each cabinet measures 1111 x 338 x 380 mm (height x width x depth) and weighs 30.4 kg: both figures refer to a single speaker.

The F502SP comes in four finishes: Black Piano Gloss and White Piano Gloss, along with Walnut Piano Gloss and Natural Walnut.
