Motorised two-panel mechanism that hides a screen behind a split picture
The PIC-SPLIT (Picture Split Mechanism) makes it possible to hide a recessed screen behind two artwork panels. It is an alternative to the standard Picture Lift mechanism wherever very little vertical height is available.
The built-in motors draw the two panels apart quickly and quietly and uncover the recessed screen behind them; the control system holds both panels in step throughout. Movement follows a ramped speed profile at start and finish, and the components are isolated from vibration. It is surface mounted and stands 50 mm off the wall. The product is intended for indoor use.
