Focal Grande Utopia EM Evo - Finitura Speciale

Focal Grande Utopia EM Evo in wood: 4-way floorstanding loudspeaker

Focal's flagship: a four-way design two metres tall, with a 40 cm W woofer driven by an electromagnetic motor and two 16.5 cm W Power Flower midranges with TMD suspension. The angle of the cabinets is set with a leather-covered crank, to focus the stage to suit the room.

Like the whole Utopia line it uses W sandwich cones and a pure beryllium inverted-dome tweeter with IAL2 rear loading. The midrange carries the Power Flower magnet; the internal Gamma structure stiffens the cabinet and the OPC filter looks after the phase between drivers.

Cabinet

Each driver has its own separate cabinet: stacked and angled towards each other, they align the output on the listening position (Focus Time). Built in France.
