Dynaudio Emit 50

Dynaudio Emit 50: 3-way floorstanding speaker

Emit 50 is the largest floorstanding speaker of the Emit series: a three-way design for medium and large rooms, to be used in a stereo system or as a front speaker in a multi-channel setup for films and music.

The two 18 cm woofers have MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) cones made as a single piece with integrated dust cap and, unlike the other models of the series, copper voice coils, paired with a double stacked magnet. The 15 cm midrange, found only on this model, uses a ferrite ceramic magnet and a short 38 mm aluminium coil. At the top sits the Cerotar tweeter, a 28 mm soft dome in coated fabric with the Hexis inner dome and a Ferrite+ magnet. The cabinet is built from 18 mm MDF, damped with polyester.
