Clean power and optimized distribution for an entire system
The IsoTek V5 Aquarius is a high-end power distribution amplifier designed to improve the quality of power supplied to complete hi-fi and home theater systems. This model adopts a structure with 6 independent filter networks , thus effectively reducing Common Mode noise , Differential Mode noise and cross-contamination between connected components. Compared to the previous generation, IsoTek claims a completely revised electrical architecture with a 35% increase in copper loading on the PCB and at least 25% improvement in Direct Current Resistance .
Two high current and four medium current outputs
The V5 Aquarius offers 6 total outlets + System Link , divided into 4 medium current outputs dedicated to sources, streamers, DACs and front-end components, and 2 high current outputs designed for amplifiers, active subwoofers, active speakers and devices with higher current demands. The four medium current outlets are 6A and reach up to 1,380 W total at 230 V or 690 W at 115 V , while the two high current 16A outlets can deliver up to 3,680 W at 230 V or 1,840 W at 115 V. IsoTek also integrates the Adaptive Gating system on the dedicated source outputs and a practical System Link for expanding the system while maintaining the star-earth configuration.
High protection, effective filtering and high-level construction
Highlights of the product include 65dB RFI reduction , 81,000A instantaneous and 40,000A continuous surge protection, as well as a fully star-earthed network. Internal wiring uses silver-plated Ohno Continuous Cast copper with FEP Virtual Air Dielectric , while the unit is supplied with 1.5m IsoTek EVO3 Premier cable . Dimensions are 450 x 110 x 350mm and a claimed weight of 9.5kg , with UK, EU, US, AU and CH plugs available.
