The Monitor SE 6000F is a three-way reflex floorstander, sold as a pair, with five drive units in a cabinet only 18 cm wide: a 25 mm tweeter, a 140 mm midrange and three 140 mm woofers.

What sets the 6000F apart is its shape: a narrow 18 cm baffle and a cabinet 36 cm deep, standing 105 cm high. Inside are three 140 mm woofers given over to low frequencies and one midrange of matching diameter for the middle of the band. The cones are mineral-filled polypropylene, fitted with inverted dust caps and downroll surrounds, a recipe that combines low mass with stiffness.
High frequencies go to the 25 mm X-PAL dome in pure aluminium, ferrofluid damped and cooled. The patented, perforated PPA lens covering it serves as a phase plug: it holds back a broad band of out-of-phase frequencies, and the result is treble that is both stronger and smoother, free of colouration. The second-order network crosses at 3 kHz to the midrange and at 800 Hz to the woofers.
The three woofers lift in-room sensitivity to 93 dB, with on-axis response from 53 Hz to 21 kHz within ±3 dB and extension to 43 Hz (DIN). The load is 8 ohm compatible and suitable amplifiers range from 15 to 130 W. Each speaker weighs 19.9 kg. The design leans on the research Paradigm pursues with Canada's National Research Council.
