The Monitor XT20 pair brings music and films to a component system.
The Polk Audio Monitor XT20 pair is the larger bookshelf option in the range. Each speaker combines a 6.5" paper woofer with a 1" Terylene tweeter for stereo listening or home cinema front channels.

When the XT15 is too small
The cabinet measures 190.5 x 330 x 279.3 mm: check shelf depth and cable space. Nickel-plated five-way binding posts need an amplifier; this is not a powered speaker. Optional XT90 height modules can sit on the XT20.
Overall response is 38 Hz-40 kHz; the lower -3 dB limit is 57 Hz rather than the XT15's 73 Hz. The larger woofer needs more room but increases the scale of the front stage. A subwoofer is still useful for film LFE.
At 330 mm tall, check the available space beside the television. Both speakers are included in this pair. Allow access to the binding posts when placing each speaker on the shelf. The 279.3 mm depth is a key shelf measurement. Allow additional space behind the cabinets for the speaker cables.
