Denon Home Amp is a 100W-per-channel stereo streaming amplifier with HEOS, HDMI eARC and subwoofer management, designed for passive speakers.
Role and differences
It brings Denon Home operation to any pair of passive speakers, including bookshelf, in-wall, in-ceiling or outdoor models. Class-D amplification delivers 100W per channel into 8 ohms and 125W into 4 ohms; HDMI eARC integrates the television, while HEOS manages music services, local libraries and other zones. It is not a speaker and requires wired loudspeakers.

Connections and use
Stereo and dual-mono modes support conventional listening or installations where two speakers must reproduce the same signal. Adjustable filters help integrate an active subwoofer and reduce the load on main speakers. It is more powerful and television-oriented than the older HEOS Amp, while compared with PMA-900HNE it trades numerous inputs and phono capability for size, installation flexibility and network control.
Guided setup reduces the initial steps, although network quality, position and system matching remain important for stable results. Before final installation it is worth checking Wi-Fi coverage, mains outlets and any required cable routes. This keeps daily operation straightforward without compromising acoustically sensible placement.
