Denon AH-C500W are open-fit true wireless earbuds for everyday music and calls, with Bluetooth, a charging case and listening without deep ear-canal isolation.
Design and intended use
The open-fit shape rests in the ear without the seal of silicone-tip models. This makes voices, traffic and announcements easier to hear and suits office work, walking and long sessions; in return, isolation and bass weight depend more heavily on individual anatomy. It omits PerL AAT calibration and the C840NCW active cancellation.

Selection and setup
This is the simpler model in the new C500W/C840NCW pairing. The choice depends on priority: C500W admits environmental sound and reduces the closed-in feeling, whereas C840NCW uses tips and cancellation for stronger isolation. The two earbuds are independent, with no cable or headband, and return to their case for protection, pairing and charging.
Final performance depends on fit in the ear, the codec negotiated with the smartphone and enabled functions. Battery life and range vary with volume, calls, cancellation and radio conditions, so the case is part of the system rather than a simple container. Regular cleaning of grilles and contacts helps maintain stable operation and charging.
