Round in-ceiling speaker with Uni-Q® driver
The KEF Ci130QR is a round two-way flush-mount speaker designed to blend into ceilings with the utmost discretion, ensuring wide, even sound coverage thanks to the KEF Uni-Q® driver. Sold individually, it combines a 130 mm (5.25") woofer with a 19 mm aluminium tweeter with Tangerine Waveguide in a Uni-Q® configuration for a frequency response from 45 Hz to 34 kHz. The Ultra-Thin Bezel (UTB) frame and the gold-plated spring terminals complete a construction refined in every detail. For those who prefer the square format with no bezel, the Ci130QSfl model offers the same drivers in a frameless version, while the Ci130QRfl is the round frameless version.
Uni-Q® with Tangerine Waveguide: even sound coverage throughout the room
The KEF Uni-Q® driver places the 19 mm tweeter exactly at the acoustic centre of the 130 mm woofer, so that both act as a single point source. The Tangerine Waveguide optimises high-frequency dispersion for crystal-clear, even sound at every point in the room, making it possible to cover the room with fewer speakers than conventional solutions.
Compact format, complete performance
With a sensitivity of 87 dB, a response reaching down to 45 Hz and compatibility with amplifiers from 10 to 100 W into 8 Ω, the Ci130QR is the ideal solution for smaller rooms, secondary listening zones or multiroom distribution where the space available in the ceiling is limited. With a mounting depth of just 77.8 mm, it is one of the slimmest models in the series.
Simple, discreet in-ceiling installation
With an external diameter of 193.4 mm, the Ci130QR fits ceilings with a thickness from 6 to 33 mm. The required cut-out has a diameter of 158 mm. The optional RIF130R pre-installation frame simplifies fitting during construction or renovation.

The Ci130QR is designed for multiroom audio distribution, bathrooms, corridors, kitchens and any room where a 130 mm driver is the most suitable choice in terms of size and required power. It pairs perfectly with the other speakers in the KEF Ci-Q series — including the frameless versions Ci130QSfl and Ci130QRfl — ensuring the same Uni-Q® sonic signature at every point of the installation.
