48 Gbps Ultra High Speed HDMI cable with 1.25% silver-plated copper and a noise-draining metal layer
Cinnamon 48 is a 48 Gbps HDMI cable with Ultra High Speed certification from HDMI Licensing: it handles 4K/120, 8K/60 and the remaining HDMI 2.1 functions, supports Dynamic HDR and eARC, and can carry video as high as 10K Ultra HD at professional level.
The 48 Gbps speed is reached with four balanced audio/video pairs, 12 Gbps for every pair. A current 4K system also gains from the materials and the construction, and backward compatibility with 4K equipment is complete. The cable suits televisions, projectors, soundbars and AV receivers.
Conductors with 1.25% silver
The conductors are solid Long-Grain Copper plated with 1.25% silver. A solid core avoids the electrical and magnetic interaction typical of stranded conductors, while the silver layer, thicker than on the lower models in the series, helps noise to be dissipated more effectively.
Noise reduction
Cinnamon 48 uses Level 2 Noise-Dissipation. As on the other cables in the series, all 19 conductors are Direction-Controlled: audio/video and eARC signals, ground-reference drains, control lines and power lines. In addition, a metal layer wraps the four FRL pairs and the eARC pair, the links that carry picture and sound, to raise the dissipation of radio-frequency noise further.
Gaming and lengths
The cable supports the gaming functions 4K at 120 frames, VRR, ALLM and QFT, suited to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and gaming computers. Cinnamon 48 is offered in lengths of 0.6 m, 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m, 3 m and 5 m.
