Ethernet network cable with Long-Grain Copper conductors and shielded connectors
Pearl RJ/E is the AudioQuest Ethernet cable designed to bring a fast, steady wired connection to streamers, consoles, televisions and connected-home devices. Compared with Wi-Fi, a cabled link gives lower latency and less packet loss, which means less buffering while streaming and fewer interruptions during video calls.
Conductors and insulation
The conductors are high-purity Long-Grain Copper. The insulation is solid high-density polyethylene, chosen to hold the internal geometry of the cable in place: keeping the layout of the conductors constant limits distortion and preserves dynamics, and performance stays the same as the years go by.
Connectors and shielding
The connectors are gold-plated nickel and provide 100% shield coverage. This solution helps to cut distortion further and works together with noise dissipation, for a cleaner sound when the cable feeds a networked audio component.
