The ASW608 accepts either a line signal or a speaker-level connection.
The single Bowers & Wilkins ASW608 is an active subwoofer with a long-throw 200 mm cone and 200 W amplifier. It is the smaller of the two ASW models: the ASW610 moves to a 250 mm driver and a wider box. Available space and the outputs of the existing system guide the choice.

Connections and controls
Stereo RCA sockets receive line level, binding posts take speaker level and a 12 V trigger is provided. The two input types have separate level settings. Low-pass filtering, line bypass, phase, bass extension, roll-off and automatic sensing help integration with the main speakers. These are physical adjustments, not wireless services.
Full dimensions
The enclosure front is 260 mm square and bare depth is 305 mm. Height becomes 272 mm with feet or 288 mm with spikes; grilles and controls take depth to 330 mm. Leave access for connections and adjustments before fitting it into a tight position. It weighs 8.85 kg.
Compared with the opposed-driver DB models, the ASW608 uses one cone and does not require an app for the listed controls. Its speaker-level input is useful without a line-level subwoofer output. The ASW610 retains those choices but has a larger driver. In either case, the subwoofer position and filter should be set in relation to the speakers and room. Its sealed enclosure and 200 W built-in amplifier make it a self-contained bass channel; the main stereo speakers still need their own amplification.
