Power cable dedicated to low frequency control
Energy, control and authority over low frequencies
The AudioQuest ThunderBird BASS is the speaker cable designed to optimize low-frequency reproduction in high-performance audio systems. Designed for bi-wiring or bi-amping configurations, it works in conjunction with the ZERO version to ensure separate and more precise management of the frequency ranges.
Thanks to ZERO-Tech technology, the cable virtually eliminates characteristic impedance, ensuring a more linear and stable signal transfer. PSC+ (Perfect-Surface Copper+) conductors reduce distortion and harshness, improving articulation, depth, and bass impact. The result is a more controlled, dynamic low end that is perfectly integrated with the rest of the sound spectrum.
Advanced architecture and noise management
ThunderBird BASS features a Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation system, which limits RF interference and high-frequency noise, preserving signal clarity even in the most energetic passages. The DBS (Dielectric-Bias System) system keeps the dielectric polarized, promoting a more consistent and natural response over time.
The internal geometry is designed to ensure electrical stability and current control, essential characteristics when driving demanding woofers or high-dynamic speakers. Available with quality terminations (banana or spade), it represents an ideal solution for high-end stereo and home theater systems.
