Description
Dedicated subwoofer channel interconnection, more control and less noise
AudioQuest Irish Red is a subwoofer interconnect cable designed to maintain a clean low-frequency signal. Solid 0.5% silver conductors help reduce distortion, while foamed polyethylene insulation limits the dielectric's energy absorption, preserving impact and articulation.
Intelligent shielding to reduce RFI/EMI
The Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation system works to attenuate RF interference before it reaches the bulk of the electronics, contributing to a quieter bottom end and clearer bass. The Symmetrical Coax geometry maintains equivalent “+” and “–” conductors, preventing the shield from being used as a signal return path.
Reliable terminations and lengths for every installation
Cold-welded terminations with gold-plated contacts avoid soldering and ensure stable contact over time. Irish Red is designed for home theater systems and stereo systems with active subwoofers, with various lengths for cabinet routing, conduit, or remote installations.
