Five powerful channels for the core of a 5.1 cinema
M6x 250.5 delivers 5x250 W into 4 ohms for the front, centre and surround speakers of a 5.1 system.
M6x 250.5 is designed for the classic cinema core: left, centre, right and two surrounds, with the active subwoofer powered separately. Every channel receives a signal from the AV processor through RCA or XLR and has the same nominal power. It suits anyone wanting equal reserve for the five main speakers, or a foundation that can later be expanded with a separate Atmos-channel amplifier.

Why five channels remain a sensible foundation
In a 5.1 system every full-range speaker contributes to dynamics, especially the centre carrying dialogue and action. Giving each channel 250 W prevents front speakers consuming an AV receiver's shared reserve. It is complete for cinema without heights and can power the horizontal layer of an Atmos system.
An orderly route towards Atmos
Adding M6x 250.4/2 supplies four height channels without replacing the 250.5. A stereo amplifier can instead drive the fronts, leaving centre, surrounds and another pair to the five-channel unit. Loop outputs help specific distributions, although routing remains the AV processor's responsibility.
The same connection for every speaker
RCA and XLR are available on all channels: XLR helps with a balanced processor and distant rack, RCA suits short runs and standard equipment. The trigger powers the amplifier with the system and fanless cooling preserves silence. Five 250 W channels require adequate mains supply and ventilation. Its five-channel layout also keeps channel assignment easy to inspect during installation.
