Primare A35.8: power amplifier with eight bridgeable channels
Among Primare multi-channel power amplifiers the A35.8 offers the highest power and the greatest versatility: eight amplification channels, each one with an XLR and an RCA input, rated at 150 W into 8 ohms. Every pair of channels can be bridged to mono, which makes it possible to drive almost any multi-channel loudspeaker layout, alone or alongside an A35.2 stereo amplifier.
The internal layout brings energy to the amplifier modules by the most direct route out of the power supply and spreads it evenly. The modules are housed in the heatsinks, which shield them from power supply noise and in turn keep the input and output stages clear of noise coming from the modules; signals travel along a continuous strip of circuit board that passes through a channel cut into the heatsinks. The power supply is oversized, with stable power down to 2 ohms.
