Reference integrated amplification with fully balanced circuitry
A-S3200 is Yamaha's flagship integrated amplifier, with fully balanced circuitry, a toroidal transformer, four 22,000 µF capacitors and dedicated mechanical construction.
The design brings preamplification and power stage into a single chassis while maintaining a balanced path from input to speaker output. Power supply, grounding and components are arranged to reduce impedance and vibration, while level meters, brass terminals and mechanical controls recall Yamaha Hi-Fi tradition without giving up a modern internal structure.

Fully balanced circuit
A-S3200 maintains a balanced structure throughout the signal path, from the input to the output stage driving the speakers. Symmetry reduces the influence of common-mode noise and improves channel separation, avoiding interruption of the balanced principle precisely where the signal reaches higher power levels.
Transformer and capacitors
The large toroidal transformer supplies the power stage and works with four 22,000 µF capacitors. The capacitor connections use brass screws and oxygen-free copper terminals, allowing the energy reserve to reach the circuitry through low-resistance connections with robust mechanical contact.
Low impedance
The low-impedance concept covers ground wiring, power connections and component layout. The PC-Triple C cable used in the internal path to the speakers has a conductor structure designed to make signal transfer more linear, reducing losses between the output stage and terminals.
Mechanical isolation
The transformer, heatsinks and capacitors are secured to create a rigid reference and limit vibration transfer to the chassis. The brass feet can work as spikes or with protective bases, adapting contact to the surface supporting the amplifier without changing the main construction.
Components and analogue path
Yamaha uses PPS capacitors, selected components and mechanical switches developed for a high-end analogue chain. Component choice is not separated from the topology: each element is placed within a path that prioritises symmetry, reduced parasitic resistance and stability of the ground reference.
Level meters and interface
The level meters on the front panel display the dynamic variations of the music and recall the appearance of classic Hi-Fi components. Knobs and selectors are designed to provide precise mechanical response while keeping volume, inputs and adjustments accessible without relying on digital menus or software interfaces.
