Primare I25: modular stereo integrated amplifier rated at 100 W per channel
I25 is a full-width stereo integrated amplifier built on a modular platform. In this version it is an analogue-only unit with five line inputs: it is the starting point of the family, with no digital inputs and no network functions, both of which come already fitted in its sisters I25 DAC and I25 Prisma. An I25 can still be upgraded later with the DM36 conversion module and the SM35 Prisma network module.
The power section relies on UFPD 2, Primare's fully analogue Class D technology, developed by reworking the earlier UFPD circuit. The manufacturer's sheet describes the amplification as linear over the whole audible band. The front panel carries a graphic OLED display showing source, volume and information; stated standby consumption is 0.5 W.
Key features
