Primare I15 Prisma MK2: a compact integrated amplifier with D/A converter and Prisma network player
I15 Prisma MK2 brings a stereo integrated amplifier, a D/A converter and a network player together in a single chassis. The Prisma platform looks after streaming, music stored on network-attached drives and playback across several rooms or zones, all operated from a mobile device. Within the 15 series it is the model that adds the digital and network side to the amplification of the I15, which is analog only.
Amplification is entrusted to a fully analog Hypex output stage delivering 60 W into 8 ohms and 100 W into 4 ohms. Conversion is based on an ESS ES9028Q2M chip and handles PCM files up to 384 kHz as well as DSD 256. The cabinet has the three-quarter format typical of the series.
