Seven Class A/B power stages and 7.1.4 decoding for an Arcam home cinema
Arcam AVR5 is a 7.1.4 AV receiver with seven 85 W Class A/B power stages, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, dual ESS 9026PRO DACs and integrated streaming.
AVR5 combines immersive processing, seven amplifier channels and network functions in one HDA Series chassis. It is designed as the entry point to Arcam AV receivers for systems up to 7.1.4, with pre-outs for every channel when external power amplification is required.

Immersive cinema and amplification
Processing handles Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D in layouts up to 7.1.4. Seven Class A/B power stages are complemented by pre-outs for every channel, allowing AVR5 to drive the system directly or work with external power amplifiers where greater output is required.
Video, streaming and Dirac Live
Seven HDMI inputs and two outputs support HDMI 2.0b, HDCP2.2, eARC and 4K UHD signals. Streaming includes Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, MQA and Roon Ready. AVR5 is prepared for Dirac Live, but its licence is purchased separately.
Conversion and integration
Conversion uses dual ESS 9026PRO DACs with ESS reference regulators. Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth aptX HD, RS232, IR and 12V trigger allow AVR5 to fit a cinema room or control system, while Arcam music life App handles UPnP streaming.
Dimensions and accessories
The chassis measures 433 x 171 x 425 mm and weighs 16.5 kg, with the published figures matching. Supplied equipment includes the remote with batteries, DAB/FM aerial, three Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antennas and the accessories required for installation and control.
