AudioQuest Gold Anti-Static Record Brush

Anti-static brush with gold contacts for vinyl records

The Gold brush is made to clear dust, static charge and residue from the surface of vinyl records. It is a quick and safe tool, to be kept beside the turntable and used whenever a record goes on the platter.

Carbon fibres and conductive contacts

The bristles are 1,248,000 conductive carbon fibres, fine enough to enter the grooves and collect microscopic particles before they lodge in the vinyl. The gold contacts, conductive as well, complete the route along which static charge is led away from the record.

What changes when listening

Dust in the grooves and a build-up of static electricity are the source of pops and clicks. By removing both, the brush reduces these disturbances and lets deeper bass and cleaner highs come through, with less noise laid over the music.

Its compact size and ease of use make it suited to everyday use; the construction is meant to withstand regular use without losing effectiveness.
